Micronesia Roof Project 2014: Majuro, the skinny island.

Majuro is a skinny little island on an atol in the Marshall Islands. There is one road that goes from one end to another. From the front yard of where we were staying, we could swim in the lagoon of the atol and of the other side of the yard, surf in the waves of the Pacific Ocean!

As we come to the end of our quick stay in Majuro, we can quickly reflect on some great times whether it was working, or playing with friends. Here are some more highlights of our stay.

Of course, we begin with work pictures. So that it doesn't look like we are just playing around!

Thanks for your help Vinny!

The obligatory crew picture.

On the weekend, we got to take the Bowman's sail boat out to a little island, for a congregation party!

The little islands name, I will not try to spell, but we had a great time! We even played with the pigs!

The next day, we attended the Laura congregation.

And at the very last minute we got a special treat! Thanks goes out to Michael and Melody Hills
For bringing the boards out!

As we are writing this blog, we are on the plane to Pohnpei, a slight change of plans for those who know our itinerary. Then we will be off to Kosrae for the last island of this leg of the project. We hope you enjoyed our posts. We had a great time in Majuro! Thanks to all our friends for welcoming us, and Vince and Lynn for opening their house to us!
