For our friends who don't know yet, we turned in our applications for Kingdom Hall Construction and got accepted! Our assignment is to apply a special roof membrane on several Kingdom Halls and Missionary homes throughout Micronesia. We get the awesome privilege of working with and learning from Jordan and Hannah, who were in Guam last year working on the roof at the Branch.
The South Guam Kingdom Hall was our first of many!
Off course it rained all day on our first day.
Which was perfect for cleaning the roof.
We were very concerned, because you need dry sunny weather to apply the membrane.
So we were pleased when we had excellent sunny breezy weather the very next day!
All in all it took five days to complete the work.
The rest of the projects will be very similar to this, so we will try not to bore you with similar pictures for every single island. But we are sure that we will have great experiences and pictures of Jehovah's creation and many new friends to share.
